Hello to all who have little enough to do but find time to read this..I,m still in Germany and will be until early next month (may 2010)..lots of uncertainty about flights even tho airspace has just opened again..planned driving holiday to numerous locations looks like a very slim to none option. At least I'm stuck in a nice (tho expensive) hotel and the weather has been beautiful. 30 dollars a day for internet access! they call it "Swisscom Hospitality" ..yep really "hospitable" If I look out the window I can see the ever changing gas prices ..one day 1 euro 35 next 1 euro 47..make your mind up..sounds like I'm ranting again but really.TV is good as I have BBC one with lots of my fav shows such Antiques Roadshow Cash in the Attic and Escape to the Country etc. I'm not working this week..just laying low and getting some exercise each day.

Air Canada poor treatment.
Hi folks ..some of you know how much I fly with my job..well I'm sure lots of you do as well..just take my advice and fly any airline except Air Canada..they left me stuck in Frankfurt airport last Dec for almost 10 hours with a coupon for 15 euros to cover food! When I complained they offered a useless 15 % discount off my next flight with them...these discounts are not even real as anyone can get a better price ( on air canada) simply by using expedia or similar. I explained that I would use my little rant space here to dissuade people from using their airline..So I consider it done. Bill Craig ex elite club member. Feb 2010

Hi everybody..made it back from Florida in one piece..just small interaction with the highway patrol outside of Cincinnati..still I suppose that's the cost of getting home..you know gas hotel speeding tickets..another year what can I say..All the best to my old friends and to a few new ones ..Happy Christmas to all.
