folk club gig
Had a great night last evening at Fiddlers Dream folk club here in Phoenix ..opened for Jim Malcolm of Scotlands Old Blind Dogs..Jim was wonderful//brilliant guitarist singer and songwriter...plus one hell of a harmonica player. Got to play my new Avalon guitar for the first time (in front of an audience) ..have now aquired a digital camera and am already having fun with it...weather is heading up into the mid 80's..that's o.k. by me. new guitar
Well my new Avalon guitar arrived and it is beautiful..codeboy should have some pic of it up on the sitr soon..I'm in Phoenix at the moment and happy to be away from the coldest longest winter I can remember in Canada.Will be having a pint with the Rovers after the show on the 21st ..Have gig with Jim Malcolm of Old Blind Dogs this Friday @ Fiddlers Dream Folk club ..can't wait to hear him perform and check out my new guitar...Heard the soon to be released Blackwood c.d. last night at Dennis P's place ..I really think it's superb! Must finish and get on page my "history of ducks"...bye for now Bill.
